Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter for WPDE-TV located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. In the following years, she worked as a anchor of the morning news and as a the crime reporter at WCBD TV. The work of O'Dell in Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases has led to the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these cases.
